Our Favorite Toddler/Kid Electric Motorcycle

If you’re looking for a top electric motorcycle toy for your toddler and/or kids, you should consider the Tobbi 12V Electric Trike Motorcycle. It features a 12V battery that can keep a charge for up to an hour of continuous riding. It is equipped with LED headlights and a soundbar. The three wheels help those who are still learning balance as well as a feature that eases the kids forward when they hit the foot pedal rather than it jerks to life. It also has a reverse feature in addition to going forward which is super convenient for your kids to get themselves unstuck. This electric motorcycle is perfect for kids who love the thrill of biking without any of the dangers of traditional motorcycle. You can find the Tobbi 12V Trike Motorcycle on Amazon here.

Our story with the Tobbi 12V Electric Trike Motorcycle begins when our youngest kept trying to “steal” the neighbor girls for nearly a year before he got his very own for his third birthday. At two he wasn’t tall enough to reach the foot pedal to make it go which is probably the only reason his heist attempts were unsuccessful. When all the neighborhood kids were playing he was always successful in finding someone who would push him around the yard. Or he would just sit on it and mess with the different sounds.

Loving his Trike!

At 3 years old he was the perfect age and height for him to have his own. It keeps a charge really well and allows him to keep up with his brothers and the other bigger kids in the neighborhood while they are riding their bikes in the cul-de-sac. It doesn’t move that fast, it maxes out at 3 mph, so I can keep up with it at a faster-paced walk without any issues. His six-year-old brother also enjoys taking turns on it with no issues. When the eight-year-old tries it does slow down a bit but not enough to where he doesn’t ride it around now and then.

He has even taken his Tobbi trike motorcycle through the trails as well as through a bit of snow. For an electric toy, I was pretty impressed with it being able to move through the snow like that.

Now the not-so-great piece. It is a trike so if the kid turns too sharp on any sort of incline or they take one of the back wheels over something it could tip over. The three-year-old did tip it this past fall when he got too close to one of the pavers for the landscaping and took the back wheel over it. He scrapped his elbow pretty good because he was in short sleeves. In three days he was back on it like nothing happened.

Would I buy it again? 100% yes. As long as they aren’t too rough on it we have the potential to get another 4 years out of it. I would say longer if we didn’t have the older brothers’ ATVs that I’m sure he’ll jump on and drive as soon as we say yes. I mean he’s already tried – thankfully he hasn’t figured out how to get them out of neutral. Again, you can find the Tobbi 12V Trike Motorcycle on Amazon here.
