Trips, Tips, and Tricks
BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front) It is important to know state and local laws regarding the different types of off-road vehicles allowed and any specifics for ages and necessary safety gear. Google it if you aren’t sure. It’s better to know before you purchase and hope for the best after the fact.
Because of where we live, and the ages of our kids mean they would only be allowed to ride on our private property. It’s not that big of a deal when considering the alternative of them trying to compete for space at an ORV park with much bigger vehicles around. Safety first. But this gave us the option of waiting until they are older which depending on the kid meant 2 to 7 years for all our boys to be old enough to ride someplace other than on private property. I’m sure most of you who are parents have seen the viral reels or read a quote about how short the timeframe childhood really is. And we didn’t want to waste another moment making these memories with our boys.
